A child’s favorite memory

Handstand Contest #10, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Family travel involves strategic planning, extreme patience and above all, wonderful memories!

My favorite childhood travel memory involves handstands! Growing up, my family always spent Christmas on the sandy beaches of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. In 1997 (I was 13 years old) my dad challenged me to a handstand contest and of course I won. Okay, okay, I must say he wasn’t too bad for a grown up! hehe  From that year on we had an annual beach handstand contest and I beat him every time. But don’t worry, there will be a day when he beats me…he’s getting even better as an old geezer!  🙂
