Israel’s rich cultures and colorful lifestyles have tourists traveling from around the world just to be a part of it. From the fabulous beaches to the Jerusalem Biblical Zoo, there are plenty of things to see and do!
The people of Israel are friendly, intelligent and proud to share their traditions with those traveling to the area. They love to see you taste their home made falafel (a signature local dish) but will never give away their secret ingredient!
The amount of historical sites in this enchanting country are endless and I would suggest seeing as much as possible! Some of my favorites are The Western Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, The Bahai Shrine and Gardens in Haifa and the Flea Market in Jafa. For the nature lover there are also several natural parks in the Mount Carmel Area. Last but not least don’t forget to see
some of the beautiful churches. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre will take your breath away!
Now, you may be wondering if it’s safe to travel to Israel at this time. After returning from a recent trip to Israel, owner and CEO of Isramworld, Ady Gelber, was asked if he had any concerns about Israel’s tourism. He commented, “no, not the slightest. Israel is a beacon of democracy, normalcy and calm in a sometimes chaotic neighborhood. Our priority is always protecting our clients’ well-being and security as we provide them with the
vacation of a lifetime.” Ady is assuring U.S travel agents and their clients that “hotels are full, tourism sites are full, restaurants are hopping, and Ben Gurion International Airport is operating entirely normally, with some 75 airlines – including three U.S. airlines – flying tens of thousands of travelers in and out of Israel every day.”
2010 was Israel’s best year for tourism and 2011 is looking even brighter! There has never been a better time to check out this life changing destination!
