Okay so, the typical Las Vegas trip usually includes lots of indulgences, bright lights and crazy music. But what if you could enjoy all of these things without feeling like you need to call your mother, shower or repent? 🙂
Last weekend my family and I took a trip to the strip for my brothers 21st birthday. So, needless to say, a lot of partying took place. However, I saw a
side of Vegas that I have never seen before and it actually hit a lot closer to home for me. I have been called a tree-huggger, a hippie or a “Green Person” but I don’t think any labels are fitting. I just prefer the outdoors to being inside, tofu to meat and Vibram shoes (the funny looking toe shoes) to heels. So, when I decided to skip a taxi and take a walk off the beaten strip, I was ecstatic to run into the Las Vegas Whole Foods. This multi-level health sanctuary offered yoga classes, tai chi lessons and massage. They also had an outstanding vegan food bar that would surpass the needs of any veggie eater!
With a happy, full tummy, I walked back to the Mirage hotel to meet my family for the Beatles Love show. With psychedelic lights, classic
music from the Beatles and some of the best entertainment in the world by Cirque Du Soleil, this was the finale to an outstanding and very different Las Vegas Experience!
